Vashon Island Holidays from £809

We were pleasantly surprised at the Rooms. Everything was so nice and the food in the Tatoosh Grill was very good. I will stay there again. Great price and very nice.

The staff were always welcoming and helpful.

I stayed at the Murano for one night as I was passing through Tacoma. Initially I was pretty impressed. The decor is nice, it's in a very convenient location and the staff was very welcoming. That's where it ended for me. The elevator is slow even though they have 3, only one or 2 seemed to be in service causing 5-10 minutes or longer delays in getting up to my room or down to the lobby. My room was well appointed and clean, the bed was comfortable as well. The bathroom needed some attention however with parts of the porcelain missing from the bathtub and one of the lights needed to be replaced. The internet in my room was slow to non-existent causing me to have to use my phone as a hotspot just to check my work email. There is an in room coffee maker but the coffee is absolutely disgusting and a no-name brand. For a 4+ star hotel I'd expect much better than no-name coffee unless their goal is simply to push people into going to the restaurant on the 4th floor. Overall this place will not be my first choice if I'm back in the area again. The price doesn't match the overall experience. Did I express my cincrito the staff? No. Why did I not? Because it was just one night and I simply didn't care enough to have that discussion with a staff member that would most likely seem concerned but not truly be concerned because they couldn't really remedy my specific complaints anyway.

The property is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. Mei Mei makes a wonderful breakfast. We'll be back!
