"We had a lovely stay in one of the AC rooms, which had its own small seating area and was very private and peaceful. A haven from the busy Varkala. The gardens here are beautiful and well kept, the staff all sweet and attentive and helpful, available 24hr. The breakfast included at their restaurant nearby was also great. But it was quite loud at night due to neighbouring properties, but maybe due to being there in peak season! "

"It’s primitive. Like an abandoned infirmary. If you like camping, then it’s ok. Don’t recommend for those concerned about illnesses tranmsitted by musquitos. Not child safe. Can see an accident and a law suit in its future."

"For starters when I booked it said air conditioned room/ when I arrived it was not so wasn't impressed with hotels.com The place is nice, helpful staff and nice grounds man. The cottage is cute and a good size. It's a little challenge finding this place but it's well signed which is helpful. To get to the cliffs go through either bamboo village or the ally way next to it- along here is some cool shops and restaurants"

"This hotel does not have a tie-up with hotels.com and does not honor the reservation/confirmation from hotels.com. We reached the hotel only to be told that they do not have a tie-up with hotels.com or expedia. Fortunately, it was a 'Pay-at-Proeperty' reservation and hence did not lose any money. Hotels.com tried to book another hotel for us but were unsuccessful and finally agreed to reimburse any extra cost if we found another hotel on our own. Overall, a bad experience both from the...
