Just close enough—5 minutes walk—to the ghats to be totally convenient, but just enough outside the main part of the old city to feel like a bit of a haven. Room in good shape, solid restaurant. Each room is air conditioned and has really good facilities. The team are brilliant helping with questions about where to go shopping negotiating Rikshaw prices. The food is hot and whilst you have to remember at breakfast food comes first and then your hot drink there is nothing to complain about and the prices are reasonable.
