Solid choice if you are looking for a simple clean space to sleep. Our room had two beds, a desk & chair, a wide and low drawer and a small fridge. No sofa. The bathroom was clean but there was a leaky shower faucet which was a problem for a while based on the water stain on the shower tub. We spend most of our time out and about, and weren’t planning to spend much time here anyway. I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

I was a little apprehensive when I first saw the hotel as my car ride pulled over at the entrance. I had arrived a few hours early; my check-in time at 4. Thankfully, the receptionist came out soon after and assisted me immediately. Handra was very helpful and friendly. Not only did she make the check-in process quick and stress-free, she even provided several recommendations on places to eat around the area, particularly when it’s my first time in the city. I wish all hotel receptionists are like her!

The room was clean and comfortable, but I had some doubts about the bathroom— there were some stains on the bathtub. The area where the hotel is located is also sketchy. Our view from our room was a dirty alley and a tire shop. The staff was great, though. She was helpful and friendly.

While the exterior of the building is still going through refurbishing and looks a bit dated, the inside has been nicely updated. The room was secure, spacious, and clean. The location was nicely located between bus stops for easy access. Asian food of all nations is within 2 to 15 min walking distance. A Safeway supermarket and liquor store are 10 min walk. Metrotown mall with a Walmart and Oakridge Park mall (Tiffany, LV, Dior, etc), are both within 15 to 20 min Bus ride. The cruise port and airport are both about a 30 to 45 min Lyft or Uber ride for around $30US. The staff at the hotel is absolutely outstanding.

The hotel needed some work on the outside. The inside had been refurbished for the upcoming Fifa games. The room was cozy and bright with the most comfortable bed my husband & I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, but modest. We also had a view of the Vancouver skyline from our 3rd floor window. Hondra, the manager, was very gracious and helpful upon our arrival and throughout our 4 day stay. She was very available, though not always onsite. We had privacy and quiet. The hotel is located in the Vancouver suburb of Collingswood. It has a lowkey vibe which was wonderful to return to after a busy day in the dynamic high energy city. If you are looking for a good budget hotel this is the one.
