The place is really old and beaten down. Most of the stuff around the house is broken or about to break. Make sure you take pictures of everything as proof before staying here as I was charged a thousand for a broken blind!

The house was very nice and it was clean. We only used it for a quick stay before going on a cruise. If we were staying the week and planned on using the full house, it would have been more problematic. The kitchen was large, but lacked a lot of dishes and utensils. The main stove wasn't working, but we were never informed about that. The upstairs was VERY hot. It felt like the bathroom floors may have been heated, but 2 of the bedrooms up there were over 80 degrees with the air running. The half bath downstairs had a broken handle. One of our guests got stuck in there for 30 minutes while we tried to get him out (door was so tight we couldn't get anything in to him). When I messaged the owner about it, they never responded.

Large house with spectacular architectural design and details. Some maintenance and condition issues: 1) Kitchen range not working, 2) Pot lights in one ensuite not working/missing, 3) Living room armchair with excessive worn leather, 4) Kitchen chair wood leg is warped and unstable. 5) theatre Room equipment not working. 6) Lamp shade missing in bedroom. 7) Tile flooring transition issues covered with tape. 8) Electrical switches in main entrance covered with tape. 9) Leather chair in Theater Room repaired with miss-matched colored patch (pealing). 10) Koi Pond water not maintained
