The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. "The room was clean and efficient, loved the heated bathroom floors The church bells tolling in the morning were delightful. The staff was busy but always made time to answer questions with a smile. The restaurant was very very good and the breakfast was a delightful private table with a generous variety of bread, rolls, fruits, yogurts, eggs and meats. Coffee and tea with again a very capable and friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit. "

"friendly staff; unfortunately, the garage to park our bikes was completely full so we had to leave our bikes outside; clean large room with comfortable beds; fantastic breakfast with large variety of food; lovely outdoor setting to have dinner when weather allows; very central and close to centre of town"

Extrem starker Weichspülergeruch in allen Textilen.. zusätzlich noch Duftstäbchen und Parfümzerstäuber. "A great place to stay if you have to be in Assen. It's in an almost perfect location in the city center. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I've had, and the restaurant was also excellent. If you arrive or depart on a Wednesday or Saturday, be aware that there is a wonderful local market in front of the hotel.on those days. If you need to take a taxi on those days, the taxi will pick you up / drop you off at the end of the street (about 200 meters from the hotel entrance)."
