Outside there is a small private garden with dining area and outdoor relaxation area. The apartment is located on the ground floor of an old farmhouse renovated with charm, eco-friendly materials, immersed in the green hills of Bologna and surrounded by olive trees. The structure, which consists of two other apartments, is located within a large property of over 100,000 square meters in which there is the main house, the infinity pool including a large relaxation area and a changing room with toilet, a play area with ping-pong and an area equipped for bbq and the parking area. The swimming pool is 1.40 m deep and is equipped with comfortable steps for the descent, with an infinity edge with a spectacular view of the surrounding hills and with seasonal opening from 15/05 to 30/09 depending on weather conditions and open daily from 9.00 to 18.30\. Free internet and wi-fi throughout the property. The equipped bbq area is available until 9.00 p.m. Our guests are asked to make proper use of the facilities and equipped areas, freeing them at the end of the hours indicated. We had a lovely stay! The garden apartment is even nicer than in photos - very clean, cozy and comfortable. Alessandro's family was welcoming and friendly - Gregorio met with us at check-in, showed us around and remained available to help with any questions. The private patio under the trees was a fantastic place to sit with a morning coffee or a casual dinner in the evening, and the pool and the views were absolutely amazing! We were thankful for the air conditioning too, as it was a hot week. We really enjoyed staying in a place that was small, family-run and semi-private, with one other family staying at the same time - we enjoyed meeting them and playing some games in the pool together. Valsamoggia is a beautiful area, conveniently located close to Bologna and lots of day trip destinations. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. The only issue we had was the heat. Unfortunately there were heat warnings throughout this part of Europe in July and the property is not set up yet to deal with those temps, so it made sleeping and relaxing very difficult ( although the pool certainly helped). I know that Alessandro indicated they will be installing air conditioners for 2024 so that should address the issue. Otherwise we loved our vacation. ##### Peter D. And that was just like we hoped it to be. We were perfectly welcomed by Alessandro’s son Gregorio. And met Alessandro the next day. He was a perfect host to us. We loved to play with the dog Novi, who was excited to play with the ball in the beautiful Olive Garden. We went to a few very good restaurants in the neighborhood (Trattorio del Borgo Monteveglio and La Casola) and visited Bologna several times. Be careful where you drive with your car, do not enter the ZTL, because you have to pay a fine. The few things we were less positive about are: the WiFi was not everywhere so strong, there was no couch, we knew that, but missed it a bit, and we wanted a bit more fresh air in the second room. From this room you have to go to the other room to the bathroom. It was very nice to have the screens against insects before every window, because there were many mosquitoes when we were there. The infinity pool was very large and we enjoyed it very much! We loved the quietness of the place, yet still close to Bologna. Thank you very much for taking good care of us. ##### Inge H. The "Borgo" rests above the township of Crespellano, which offers supermarkets, chemists and other services. Many will know of Parma ham and Parmigiano cheese, and be aware of the ancient vinticultural heritage of Emilia Romagna, but I don't think we had understood how fundamental a role food and wine have in this region. Visting restaurants in the environs of Crespellano is a highly recommendable way of enjoying this deep-rooted and bounteous tradition. The most participatory of our culinary experiences was a visit by sisters Monika and Barbara to teach us how to make pasta with basic ingredients and rolling pins - a great learning experience not only in pasta production, our teachers being highly knowledgeable in all aspects of regional food culture. Our hosts, Alessandro and Angela and their two sons, Francesco and Giorgio, were very friendly and ready to offer advice. The pool has a fantastic view and is a great place to relax. One easily solvable quibble in my glowing account is that a more accurate description of just one feature of the smaller of the two flats would have been appreciated. Unser Appartement „Garden“ war sauber, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und alle Wohn-/Schlafräume sind klimatisiert. Bettwäsche, Handtücher etc. sind inklusive und auch die Waschküche kann mitgenutzt werden. Die Terrasse ist einladend groß (ca. 30 qm), uneinsehbar und beschattet. Ein Fahrzeug kann sicher im Innenhof abgestellt werden. Auch die selbst produzierten Spezialitäten (z.B. Honig) sollte man unbedingt probieren! Wir werden im nächsten Sommer wiederkommen. La piscine est superbe, grande et avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne environnante. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Gregorio en Allesandro. Het is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van verschillende mooie steden in de omgeving, op amper 5 minuten van de autostrade. Het was telkens heerlijk om na een uitstap te genieten van het fantastische zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op de heuvels. Een echte aanrader! ##### Andy D. Der Schwimmingpool ist kein Privatpool und wird von mehreren Familien benutzt. Der Pool darf nur von 9.00 - 18.00 Uhr benützt werden. Der Pool war stark veralgt. 2\. Es war kein Grill vorhanden wie beschrieben. Es stand auf einem Schild: Dont use the barbeque area. 3.WLAN war nicht vorhanden. 4\. TV kein Programm. 5\. Das Haus wird noch von anderen benutzt, das war so nicht beschrieben. ##### Rene S. We had a great time in their area. Our rooms were sweet and lovely decorated. We had a full kitchen with all we need and the bathroom was purposefully furnished. The cute patio is wonderful for sitting, relaxing or have breakfast, lunch, ..... But the highlight is the pool: A big infinitypool with a great view in the middle of a great landscape.
