But having people above is annoying and frustrating. Constant footsteps clomping back and forth above you, children’ screeching voices and even adult conversations. In addition, if the upstairs neighbors have left their front porch light on prepare to have your bedroom illuminated despite curtains.Also particularly upsetting, the outdoor stairway down to the apartment was treacherous with thick ice. There is a railing to hold on to but only for the top third. Traversing this was quite dangerous and unnerving, especially for 3 older adults. My spouse remarked it is “a lawsuit waiting to happen.” I called to report about both issues.
