Amazing Penthoues with 7 Balconies and a Private Rooftop Terrace facing Torres de Serranos. This lovely penthouse is located right behind TORRES DE SERRANOS in one of the most charismatic areas of Valencia, in the heart of the old town "EL CARMEN". The area is surrounded by historical sights, museums, restaurants and bars. Ideal for couples or families with kids. It is the last floor of a three story - building and it is perfect to accomodate couples and families with 2 children. Its easy to access as it has a key operated elevator with direct access. The penthouse has the living area, kitchen, bathroom and 7 balconies in the first level and in the second, one bedroom, bathroom with shower, one balcony and rooftop terrace. The living area is wide and bright, thanks to its 5 balconies facing the sun and with a great view on the Torres de Serrano and Plaza de los Fueros. Is equipped with a dining table and 6 seats, the sofa bed, flat screen TV and Sat receiver. Independent kitchen with a movable door. Is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. It also has access to one balcony. One bathroom with WC, sink, no shower and access to one balcony. The bedroom is in the second level and it has one double bed, bathrom with shower + bidet, air conditioning, one balcony and access to the most amazing private terrace in the neighborhood. The best of all is its 25 m of Terrace where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or a romantic dinner under the light of the moon! It has an amazing view on the Serranos Towers and the rest of the neighborhood. During the day you can get some sun and relax with a "beer". It has great central heating, air conditioning free WiFi and a washing machine. The penthouse is equipped with all the basics for a normal living. If during your stance you find that you miss something, we will try to provide as soon as possible. After your reservation we will send you a dossier with some useful information for your arrival in Valencia. Orinda or Carlos will meet you on your arrival, check in at the apartment, give you the keys and explain everything. You will be provided with linens and towels. Something about the Neighborhood: The Penthouse is located at the entrance to the old town of Valencia, El Carmen neighborhood, right behind the Torres de Serranos, next to the old river channel. It's within walking distance of historical sights and monuments like the Virgin's Square, the Cathedral, the Central Market, the Silk Exchange Building and many more, such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Archaeological Museum, the Fine Arts Museum, the Benlliure Museum, etc. Also you have a lot of fine restaurants, bars and pubs where to enjoy during the day and night in Valencia. Closeby is Calle Colón in which surroundings you'll find all the options you need for a day of shopping. Just downstairs, you have the old river channel. With a length of 9 km it stretches from the Oceanografic until Biopark and it's a beautiful park and a perfect option to escape into the green without leaving the very center of the city. We'll have a dossier ready for you with our personal recommendations in different languages (English, German, Italian, Spanish), so you have some directions, not just as a tourist, but as an insider ... this is very important when It comes to, where to eat a PROPER paella :-) Addresses: Right next to penthouse, you have several bus stations with different bus lines that will take you basically anywhere (America's Cup Port, Oceanografic, Bioparc, etc.). Across the river bed, you'll find different tram as well as metro lines. We have lots of bike rentals around. While the upstairs has AC we were preferred using a fan. Not recommended for those with mobility issues. Its 68 or so steps up to the unit and another 15 or so to the upstairs. We had an enjoyable stay in this lovely apartment. The roof terrace is wonderful, overlooking the Serrano Towers. The property is well presented, clean, and in a good location from which to explore Valencia, there are many attractions within a short walk. Although, operating a self check-in, the hosts Orinda and Joseph provided a lot of helpful information regarding places to visit and eat etc. There were a few negative points: The apartment is charming, but we didn't really use the downstairs area due to the absence of air conditioning (a fan is provided). Its third floor location means that there are a lot of stairs, 66 in all. There is a lift available for luggage. Plus there were some small maintenance issues; the handle to the roof terrace door was loose, making it difficult to open and close. However, these were minor issues and didn't spoil our enjoyment of this lovely apartment, in a lovely city. ##### William G. My husband and I were planning to visit Valencia for the Fallas Festival. We wanted to be close to the action but also wanted a calming space to retreat to when the party was too much. We found it with this apartment. The space itself was exactly as advertised and eat-off-the-floor clean. We had room to spread out and relax, make a few meals in the full kitchen, do a bit of laundry and enjoy the wonderful terrace. An unexpected and delightful surprise was a ninot right outside of the building, which gave us a really unique view point for it's burning. The weather was more rainy than typical so we didn't use the terrace as much as we had hoped but I can imagine it's heavenly when the weather is nice. While just my husband and I stayed at the property, we had so much room to spread out, with a comfortable larger bed.We walked everywhere, including to and from the train stations with our luggage, and found the apartment to be the perfect location for exploring both the old and newer parts of town.The only possible additions to the apartment would be additional bed pillows, as we typically sleep with four, and a few additional towels. I've found this is common in Europe and bring my own quick-drying towel for when I wash my hair and want two towels, though. Again, these are such small details that in no way cast a shadow on our stay. Can't wait to come visit in the warmer weather! ##### Vanessa J. It is very conveniently located right at the Serrano Tower and overlooks a bustling plaza typical of Valencia. It is artfully furnished and boasts a roof top terrace to relax after a hard day's sightseeing or lounging with first morning coffee. It has all the living amenities one needs. The apartment is located for easy access to the tourists needs - the never ending Turia Park, the central market holding 1000 stalls, a Carrefour Express for immediate food needs, the #95 bus that takes you to the architectural marvels of the Arts and Science for a mere 3 Euros for 2 adults, the grand plazas of the city and a taxi to hail in mere minutes. The hostess attended immediately to a few minor issues we had at the beginning. There are 66 steps up to the apartment from the street which shouldn't be a problem for most people, especially when you know what's waiting for you at the top. There is a freight elevator that will take your heavy items like luggage and shopping right up to inside the apartment. It's obvious the owner has pride in offering her home to her city's visitors. ....P and L from Canada ##### Peter C. Fahrrad- und Wanderwege zum Strand, zu Museen (Wissenschaft + Kunst), zum Aquarium, zum Zoo etc. Fahrräder oder Scooter können günstig direkt neben der Wohnung gemietet werden. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Dachterrasse lädt zu Verweilen ein, Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte befinden sich fußläufig in wenigen Minuten entfernt. Located in the El Carmen neighborhood which is primarily pedestrian-only, and full of excellent restaurants and bars. Wonderful terrace with views of the medieval tower/gate. 2 additional small patios, and at least a half dozen floor-to-ceiling French door windows onto balconies. Walking distance to most everything.
