LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION
This is one of the best-located rentals in Vail — and here's why it matters.
The free Sandstone Bus Route (purple) stop is literally steps from your front door. No driving, no parking fees, no waiting for rideshares in ski boots.
5 minutes to Vail Village via the free in-town bus 8-minute walk to Lionshead Village Ski all day and come and go on your own schedule — morning first tracks, midday breaks at the chalet, afternoon laps, and après in the village, without ever touching your car. This location is the difference between a stressful ski trip and a seamless one.
Ski Mountain Views — The upper lounge's soaring cathedral windows deliver direct, unobstructed views of Vail Mountain's ski runs. It's one of the first things guests notice and one of the last things they want to leave.
Two Separate Living Areas — The upper lounge features vaulted ceilings, a half bath, a wet bar and premium seating for the whole group. The lower-level den gives you a completely separate hangout space with a large flat-screen TV, pull-out sofa, and its own kitchenette — so the group can spread out, not pile on top of each other.
Renovated Kitchen — White shaker cabinets, dark granite countertops, stainless Whirlpool appliances, under-cabinet lighting, and an industrial spring faucet. Fully stocked — bring your grocery list.
Lower-Level Den with Kitchenette + Pull-Out Sofa — A standout bonus space with sectional sofa, pull-out bed, mounted flat-screen TV, and a private kitchenette with full-size stainless fridge and microwave. Works as a second lounge, kids' hangout, or private sleeping space for a 7th guest.
In-Unit Laundry — Washer and dryer on premises.
Ski Gear Storage — Exterior storage for equipment and gear. Keep the slopes outside and your living space clean.

A great location for access to Vail and feeling like you are a little outside town. The house is very well stocked, the beds a comfortable and the nature around the house is beautiful. There is a path behind the house that connects to another complex and takes your right to the foot bridge into Lionshead. My only complaint is lack of closet space for the master bedroom. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the pans and utensils needed to cook. There was also plenty of coffee which was wonderful. The downstairs tv room is great for movie watching. It was a little hot inside in the afternoons on the hotter days. Opening windows helped. The lower floors were cooler. Once the sun went down it cooled off quickly.
