7.4/10 Good! (19 reviews)
This pension is run by a family. They were lovely and we felt part of the family when we left a week later. The owner cooks for you if you request it. By the way healthy meals, delicious, and well balanced. You can have breakfast as well if you let them know the day prior. I highly recommend this place situated in a quiet area where relaxation takes absolute center place

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,005 reviews)
Lovely clean room kept spotlessly clean and equipped
Pool was huge and great with nice service for drinks and snacks.
The restaurants were a bit hit or miss for dinner.. San was really good but the Taitea Brasserie was mediocre. A good hotel in French Polynesia should be able to do much better.
We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, firstly because of the prices, and secondly because the hotel is connected to a shopping centre with great local cafes and a Carrefour supermarket.

9/10 Wonderful! (1,145 reviews)
"We stayed at the Kon Tiki just prior to a Paul Gaugin cruise. The hotel itself is fun with an excellent rooftop bar and one of the best restaurants in town. The breakfast room has a great vibe. It's at one end of a main road and getting around and away from the hotel to explore is awkward/sketchy ..."
