Having been in for the Boilermaker, we found this location to be of good value and within a close proximity to the race. The staff were friendly and accommodating allowing us to come back after the race for a late check out so we could shower. There's a Walmart nearby so it was convenient if we needed anything. Ultimately, we'd be glad to do it all over again next year for the race.

Overall, the room was clean and staff incredibly friendly. Once we turned the sheets down, the bed was wet. Front desk instantly got housekeeping there and changed the sheets.

The king bed was very comfortable and sheets were high quality. New floors and bathroom recently updated and clean. Two chairs could be updated. I liked the separated vanity area from bathroom. It was quiet and the owner was very sweet. Good parking and air conditioner worked fine.

The property was great for what I needed it for: a cheap place close to the Herkimer Diamond Mine (about 10 minutes). It is dated, but you expect that with the price. The worst part was the AC did not work super great, although not bad enough to tell someone. It was very clean, and staff was friendly, although they did seem annoyed with how late we showed. Love the little kitchen nook but wish it had a coffee maker.

Parking was easy and secure, and parked right in front of the door to the room I was in. I only give four stars for cleanliness. I don’t know if there were any ice machines or vending. They never mentioned any of those things and I didn’t even look for them. I don’t think there were any plastic cups in the room, but I’m not 100% sure. I brought my own bottled water. I think there should’ve been more towels, but I made due. Overall I give it a thumbs up, and the price was decent.
