A long distance walk to the malls.

Hotel is okay, friendly staff. No restaurant around, you would have to walk for about 40 minutes to look for an eatery. The nearest mall is about 40 minutes walk. Taxi is very cheap and it’s a long wait no Uber around Ushuaia.

Hi, I reserved the hotel and paid online. At the property, I had to pay again. Now I am going back and forth to get a refund. Although I got a receipt, now it seems Hotel is claiming I pid nothing. Please, Why?

Arrivee a l’hotel : pas attendu Le personnel ne parle pas anglais Il n’y a plus d’eau dans l’hotel On me fait comprendre qu’il faudrait mieux J’insiste .....l’eau revient La veille de mon depart, on me demande une facture 25 pour cent plus cher que la reeservation. Le receptioniste ne comprend pas l’anglais. Finalement, preuve a l’appui, je lui montre le montant prevu. Il accepte, je paye. Le lendemain matin, la proprietaire me reclame un supplement de 20 pour cent. Je lui montre le montant de la reservation et ce que j’ai paye. Elle est furieuse mais elle accepte Les proprietaires ne sont pas presents. Le personnel fait ce qu’il peut pour faire fonctionner cet hotel qui se t4ouve tres loin de la ville.

Quiet location, near road/trailhead going up to Martial Glacier. If you like being downtown, it's a bit far (30-40 min walk), but if you like a quieter and less touristy location, it's great. There are several places a block away to get affordable and tasty takeout, and staff/management are fine with you using their dishes and eating area. They are super friendly and helpful in every way (including going out of their way to offer me both early check-in and late check-out to suit my transport timing).

Great little spot a little out of town

This place was relatively small, but cosy, very well kept, clean, comfortable with great and friendly staff. The breakfast was nicely varied with good coffee and fresh bread, beds were comfortable, shower was good although it was over a bath/spa. The only minor point is the distance out of town centre (previously mentioned) , walking took about 20 minutes, downhill and quiet difficult to get lost. Coming back was a different issue and after getting lost in the rain, we generally took a taxi back, about AUD$4 and worth it for us. We had a couple of problems with our travel arrangements and the staff/owner could not have been more helpful with sorting this out. If you don’t mind a bit of a walk which is interesting and has many route variations, we can’t recommend this place highly enough.

A very nice place inexpensive place to stay. It is a 20+ minute walk to the main part of town, but that was added bonus for me. Everything about the room was nice. The service was great as they went above and beyond to help me as I broke my phone muchas gracias por su ayuda Thanks Sean
