"Wir haben eine schöne Zeit im kleinen, aber sehr schönen Studio im Bootshaus verbracht. Die Terasse ist ein Traum. Leider konnten wir den Fitnessraum nicht nutzen. Das Hallenbad im Marinahafen konnte auch nicht kostenfrei genutzt werden. Stavoren ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert."

"Amazing location in a gorgeous part of Edam. The property owner was very kind, generous and friendly. But the property is much smaller than photos suggest. It needs a great deal of maintenance to modernise and make safe all aspects of it. It was not clean… the toilet was disgusting and the shower room not as clean as we would have hoped. There was nowhere to sit and eat outside… the garden was over grown and unkempt which meant we did not feel we could relax there. Martin was so lovely, we were...

"Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Holland und es war einfach zauberhaft. Die Vermieter waren toll. Die Nachbarn haben uns empfangen, als ob wir dazu gehörten. Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden. Wir werden nicht das letzte Mal den Weg auf uns nehmen."

Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

"So eine nette Vermieterin! Und das Häuschen war einfach nur klasse. Richtig schön eingrichtet und ein Garten dazu. Und wirklich nur 2 Minuten vom Meer entfernt. Wir hatten leider sehr schlechtes Wetter und waren umso dankbarer, dass wir so ein gemütliches Haus hatten. Kann ich einfach nur weiterempfehlen. Absoluter Daumen hoch von mir"

"Man konnte leider nicht direkt ans Wasser, weil alles mit Schilf bedeckt war. Die Hütte war bei warmen Temperaturen enorm aufgeheizt und man konnte kein Fenster öffnen. Die Tür war voll mit Spinnen, weshalb man auch die Tür nicht offen halten konnte. Das Restaurant hatte noch geschlossen. Hier stimmen Preis und Leistung nicht überein."

"What a relaxing time we had! The ducks come up in the morning and beg to join you for breakfast. People smile and waive in the boats passing by and even a load of cows on a boat came by. We can’t say enough about this lovely rental. Everything was absolutely gorgeous! The finishes were all high end and the relaxation you feel on entering this place is priceless! Make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to stay here. We’re so glad we came"
