"The room was spacious. The resort design was exquisite and exploding with great ambiance, especially, the landscape all around. The view from the balcony was refreshing (sighted a black swan early in the morning!) The Boathouse was so chic and classy. The spa pool was just perfect even for the kids to enjoy. Everything... It's just, Wow! "

"This place is a great place to stay with good facilities and with no fuss. I had everything we needed for a short stay. Very affordable and comfortable accommodation with a great view of the marina and Hastings river if you get a pool facing suite. We didn’t use the restaurant as we have family in town and are with them. Sleeping wise and location is spot on. A little out of the way from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. Perfect."

"Whilst the room was clean and comfortable I was very disappointed that I did not see anyone in reception on my arrival or departure. I was not impressed that there appeared to be no wheelchair access or elevators. The site states 24-hour check-in however on my arrival the door was locked. When I rang the number, I was told I was sent a text message with instructions, but I was not sent a text message. The person who answered the phone sounded like I had inconvenienced him which I felt was an unacceptable greeting when you work with the public and visitors to their town - you want them to feel welcome so they will come back. I had no interaction with staff - not even 'hello'. You are providing a service to people, and you want them to return I have to say I am hesitant to stay at this motel again. It wasn't a cheap motel. The fact you have not catered to people with physical disabilities is unacceptable. The entry is no less than at least 15 stairs and steep. I had to go up two flights of stairs and then walk along a very long corridor to get to my room which was at the end of the corridor. Had I been disabled access to my room would not have been easy. In fact, I wouldn't have been able to access my room because I was travelling alone. This motel is not recommended for anyone with a physical disability major or minor. A lot of improvements need to be made to ensure everyone can stay at this motel."
