The hotel is also in the centre of Saariselkä which is compact and pedestrian friendly so this makes it easy if you’re using buses to get in and out of town and don’t have a vehicle. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are good. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Be aware that activities book out and so if you want to do more than hiking you’ll need to plan and book ahead."

And close to the cross country tracks. The apartment was very clean, we had our breakfasts there. People who want to cook find all the necessary items there. "The staff was super nice. They really helped me out answered every question. I had help me find some things that I really love to do here in Levi. I was only there one night, but I wanna go back to their lounge. It's really pretty there. They have wonderful art everywhere Local and some local authors with plenty of books that you can just pick up and read. From the airport, I took a flight from Helsinki straight to Levi and there was a bus there that only cost about $10 to take me directly to my hotel and that was very convenient. Right there at the hotel there's a really nice restaurant you can sit inside or out the weight. Staff was also very nice and help me to find things to do while I was here so you just have to ask the people and they're super friendly. There's some really nice steps right near the Burger King or behind the Burger King that you can step up. It's like 776 steps to go to the top of the Ski area where you can get a cheesecake and a coffee and then there's a little museum which I'm just about to go to about the Sami. It's called Sami land."

"Glass Igloos and surrounding were amazing! Nice location with Ski resorts, restaurants and bus stops nearby. A bit of walk for Supermarket. Igloos have all necessary stuff with proper heating. Lots of Finnish varieties in Breakfast. It’s based in Luosto which is a quiet place with wilderness unlike other crowded places which is a huge plus. Overall enjoyable experience and highly recommended!"

"Mostly stunning. However, it's worth noting that this hotel is all about the glorious communal areas. The room (we went for one with a private sauna) was small, and pretty basic - with not even a bedside table on one side of the bed. No tissues in the room, and only a combined shower get/shampoo in the bathroom, if that sort of thing bothers you. These rooms also have a sauna building in front of them, so their view of the river is obscured. We were on a half board package. The food was superb - although it's worth noting the evening meal included is absolutely fixed. The bar has a good selection of drinks. All the staff were absolutely excellent. All personable and happy to chat. Breakfast buffet was also superb (with the exception of the coffee machine which wasn't a bean machine, and therefore the coffee was pretty naff) All in all - not a cheap stay, but a great hotel in a wonderful location - with amazing staff and great food"

Maybe 5-7 minute walk to the top of the village and 20th to the downhill ski resort. 3 min walk to the trails. Everything was amazing!"
