However it is let down by several maintenance issues (one bedroom & bathroom window not opening or closing properly, bedroom door not closing, broken and ill-fitting toilet seat), and the quality of the mattresses and bedding which was really poor when compared to the most basic Premier Inn/Travelodge. "Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view from the garden and all closed in which was great for the dogs. To the side of the cottage is a big area to park your cars, which is a plus. The cottage is beautiful has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Carol is the lady who owns the cottage. She popped in to say hello and check if we need anything, give us a wonderful bottle of wine and treats for the dogs. I would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful week at the cottage despite the poor weather. The cottage was warm and comfortable and the beds were amazing, so comfortable. The bathroom was really nice with a wonderful rain forest shower.Gail and Richard made us very welcome and were always around if we had any problems but not intrusive.All in all it was a great stay, even my mum who is 92 loved it and we will definitely be returning next year."
