"I've rented a different place on the chain of lakes every year for probably at least the last 7 years. This was probably the nicest overall setup. Plenty of cookware, lots of provided amenities such as kayaks, SUPs, paddle boat, etc. Lots of indoor stuff too, but didn't use thqr much because of the good weather but would be good back up for a rainy day. Good fishing right off the dock (the bass I caught was delicious). Nice protected bay for your boat, the entrance is a bit shallow but was not a problem for us (21' outboard bowrider) and there are a couple of big surf boats parked in there so it must not be a problem for them either apparently. Would definitely rent again!"

"We had a family get together for 2 nights (8 adults) - everyone loved the place. It is so very peaceful - it was just what we all needed. Also it was well stocked with everything you would need - the best of any rentals I have had. Highly recommend - and I would love to go back for a longer stay."

"This is a cabiny cabin, unlike some VRBO's that are way fancier than my house! I liked that.My spouse and I visited with our daughter's family, which includes two active boys, ages 7 and 9. They loved the dock, fishing, and fire pit. I loved the great walking path, air conditioning, comfy beds and sharing the grandsons' joy. We visited the Model Train Museum, which is very impressive, and played mini-golf in nearby Crosslake, Also had dinner at the Mad Rabbit which has a fun steam-punk Alice in Wonderland interior.Visitors should be advised that the walk up and down the hill to the dock may be difficult for some. (My spouse's needed his cane.) A griddle would be a nice addition to the kitchen."
