Cozy Cabin on Dewdrop Lake

"The perfect getaway with 12 year olds that LOVE to fish! They were on the lake sun up to sunset catching fish all day long. We had the lake to ourselves- loved the row boat & paddle boat. The cabin/ house was charming- fully stocked- a great family vacation. Hope to come back next summer!!!"
Comfortable and cozy getaway in the heart of Crosslake

"We used this property during a family reunion on Ox Lake. It was close to our cabin, easy to find, quiet, had convenient parking (when people from the VRBO next door weren't parking in our spots), and good wi-fi, and suited our purposes very well, which was just a place to sleep and cook breakfast (a griddle or griddle pan for pancakes/French toast would be a great addition). The kitchen was fairly well stocked, beds were very comfortable, the large bathroom had a nice supply of towels as well as small bottles of lotions, etc.; however, the shower is quite small and dark. There is no outside space to enjoy, but again, for our purposes, this wasn't an issue. The keypad to the unit did not work, but a key is provided, which we used throughout our stay. Given it has no outside space it may not suit everyone's needs, but for our purposes, we would definitely stay here again."

"A wonderful & beautiful 3 days. Beautifully appointed & well maintained with first class furnishings, linens, bedding, decor & accessories. I couldn't have asked for anything more. If I didn't have over 500 in key points I would never have been able to afford my stay. In my estimation as a business owner, there’s nothing wrong in asking for a price if you can get it. As a property without laundry facilities I think it too high… but really nevertheless loved it!"

"What a wonderful experience. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful. Everything was top of the line with high quality windows and doors, appliances and fixtures. Decor was perfect. Kitchens were fully equipped and there was a full array of indoor, outdoor, electronic and board games. Plenty of wildlife from deer, loons and turkeys. Great view of the bay. I watched my brother in law catch and release over 100 sunfish, bass and northerns, in two days, right off the dock. If you are looking for a full experience, or just to relax, this is the place. The smaller cabin is the perfect getaway for two people and the larger cabin has it all. Kevin and Craig are great hosts and if you're looking for the perfect vacation, they have it."

"What a special stay we had in this wonderful cabin. The pictures do a great job of documenting the spaces. Just add a soundtrack of birdsong and the river flowing by and there you go. The place was spotless, up to date, and very well maintained. We notice design details and this cabin was a gem. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, games and puzzles, cozy blankets, and more. I didn't end up cooking as much as I had thought I would but we had everything needed for creating some great meals. Communication with the owner was great. We had one little kink to work out when we got there and he was quick to respond and very helpful. We enjoyed lots of reading, exploring the area and doing a little hiking. All and all, this was by far the best VRBO experience we've had. If we are ever in the area again this will be our destination, hopefully for a longer visit. Thanks so much for sharing your special place!"

"Our family of 15 really enjoyed our stay in Crosslake and at this cabin. Amazing location and size of the cabin. It's located right on the channel connecting Dagget and Cross lakes and having a dock to tie our pontoon up on was a plus. The 3 level layout was perfect to allow separation when needed and the main floor was perfect for gathering. We had all the utensils/cookware needed and there is a fridge on the main and lower levels that provided plenty of space for food and beverages.The beds were comfortable and rooms were adequate. Not a lot of space to put/hang clothes as the house is lived in and closets are understandably locked because they contain personal items. The queen bed on the lower level is just a box spring/matress laying on the floor which should be at least up on a frame to make getting in/out easier and considering the rental price.The workout/gym space was great to use and is something you never really see on rental properties. If you are looking for a nice place to rent in a great location and need the space this is the place for you. The upstairs is a very spacious loft with lots of bed space and a separate tv/hangout area. The basement contains a wet bar, fridge, tv/hangout space and a pool/ping pong table.The only suggestion is to cleanup the inconsistencies in the VRBO posting. This is a 5 bedroom/4.5 bath with a loft. There a 2 down, 3 main and loft upstairs. The additional bed/full bath listed on the lower level was locked."
