"Nice hotel and friendly staff. Great location. Only negative is their AC in the rooms. Very lacking. Moved rooms and it was not much better and this is the 2nd time I’ve stayed there and had the same issue."

Lotte Hotel Guam

Lotte Hotel Guam

10/10 Excellent
"As a husband that isn't very well rehearsed in thr details. It was extremely helpful to have the staff (Keilani) keep a smile on my wife's face. She was both friendly and supportive for a guy use to doing things that guys do rather than what wives do. Happy wife happy life. By the time we checked out I think the wife found a new friend for life. Everything about this hotel was excellent the rooms in the Tower Wing are 5 star in quality and the ocean view was awesome. Buffet Breakfast may seem pricey, but the quality of food and the variety was worth the extra cost. The Tuesday evening Surf and Turf in the hotels dinning room was buffet style came with half a lobster tail, the wife and I were stuffed and ready for an evening walk on the beach. All I can say is Explore, Explore, Explore Guam. The Night Market Wednesday Evening, the BBQ was delicious but expect to lean on a wall or sit on the ground to eat your meal. Be prepared to fight the flies and chase the stray dogs away. Shopping was plentiful. The buses were okay, but be prepared to wait as the Red Shuttle Bus runs hourly. Plan your days around it's schedule. Do yourself right by buying the 2 or 3 day pass then you can just hop on off when you see something of interest. Enjoy."

Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Guam

Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Guam

10/10 Excellent
"1. Friendly staff but somewhat inexperienced The hotel’s check-in time was 3 p.m., so I left my luggage and went out for a late meal. When I returned around 4 p.m., I was told the room was not yet ready. Strangely, the printed slip showed that my room had been changed from the 10th floor to the 8th floor. It felt as though my original room had been given to someone else and I was reassigned to a room that wasn’t prepared. After waiting about 15 minutes, I finally went to the room, but the key didn’t work. It turned out the key hadn’t been registered properly, so I had to get new ones. The problems didn’t end there—by 10 p.m. I realized the air conditioning wasn’t cooling properly, so I reported the issue and was moved to another room. The staff were kind enough, but overall their handling felt inexperienced. 2. Clean hotel but inconvenient due to construction The facility on the beach side in front of the hotel was under construction, which meant direct access from the lobby to the beach was blocked. If I were the manager, I would have created a temporary passage, but instead it was completely closed off, forcing guests to exit the hotel and walk around the wall to reach the beach. On top of that, the beach itself was poorly maintained. Even during construction, I believe the beach should still be managed. The room itself was clean, with tiled floors that made it easy to use after water activities without worrying about dripping water."
