"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "Great location, walking distance to the lake. There’s lots of food spots and shops nearby on the high street, the pub isn’t loud or crazy at night so we had a great nights sleep. Building is historic, so has that charm. On arrival one of the beds looked made up, but found lipstick on the pillow and hair in the bed. The staff were great at fixing this, even though he was busy in the bar restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic, full English - the lady who worked alone, she needs a raise, get her some young students to help her out serving. Thanks for a lovely stay!"
