Absolutely beautiful location. The property is well maintained, with lots of fun little nooks and crannies for selfies or hanging out. The view from the property is amazing. Jenny is an extremely responsive host who clearly cares about the quality of her property. Definitely worth a return trip.

We enjoyed this beautiful home with awesome views. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Also was an easy drive into town, but was far enough away to allow one to enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert. We hope to stay again!

We loved our stay here! The views, property, and house felt so special. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed and there were plenty of towels, pool towels, linens, etc. The host was kind, helpful, and prompt in her replies. The location was near two entrances to JTNP. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area!

We stayed in this house with our family and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is very clean, and all the furniture inside is high quality. Everything is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, down to the smallest details. The house fully matches the photos and the description — everything is exactly as advertised. There is also a very pleasant, warm energy in the home, which made our stay even more special. Overall, we would rate this place 100 out of 5 — truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had.

Had a lovely stay with my wife. The home has a great view and is very private on a hillside. A large great room and bedrooms. The outdoor area very nice to lounge in by the pool. The weather was not very hot and the pool was pretty cold because it is unheated. We would happily come stay here again.

The view!! Wow! Very clean. Plenty of towels for bath and pool. Comfortable beds. Can't beat location for Joshua Tree NP. Jenny (host) responded immediately to texts. Check in and out a breeze. Surprised to find out the property is pet-friendly. I wouldn’t have known, which is fantastic. It’s a great place with a lot of personality. Definitely one of my favorite houses I’ve ever stayed. Awesome location if you’re hiking in Joshua Tree - about 10-15 minutes from the west entrance and 5-10 from the north entrance. It has a super nice fireplace, which we didn’t use (we were in the hot tub) but appreciated nevertheless.

This location was perfect for our visit to Joshua Tree NP - the best view in Twentynine Palms and so close to the 49 Palms Trailhead. We were here over Thanksgiving and so the hot tub and wood burning fire were appreciated.

Holiday Vacation to Joshua Tree

Jenny was a wonderful host! We had flight issues and were concerned about arriving really late on Christmas Eve and not having the opportunity to get to the store before they were closed for the Holiday. She kindly grabbed a few things for us which was so wonderful. The check in process was so easy, house was just as the pictures depicted and we had the best time. Such easy access to Joshua Tree NP and yet feels very secluded. Excellent experience and kids already want to come back! Thank you!!

Desert hideaway

Our stay was all we hoped it would be, and more. The house itself is beautiful, but the reason to rent this property is the location: embedded into the hills separating 29 Palms from the national park. The view is spectacular, and the house is isolated from its neighbors, giving guests the feeling of complete privacy. I chose this property so my family could celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. I wanted to splurge a little, and provide her with something unique. Mission accomplished! One thing to note (and to be honest it's something I should have anticipated): if you bring a pet to the location, keep in mind that this property is likely to have coyotes wandering nearby. My daughter's little dog got a bit freaked out when we tried to walk her near the house at night. We were able to work around this easily enough by trying to do our walks during the day, and venturing closer to town for evening walks. This is not a complaint, it's simply something that goes with the property's wild and beautiful location. Last but not least: the property's host is terrific. She's available when you need her, and her rules are minimal. She also decorated the place with lovely Happy Birthday banners and balloons! This place is highly recommended if you're looking for something special.
