"Room nice enough. Tv bit temporamental. Pool not open , staff on desk absolutely wonderful . Most impressive I’ve seen for a long while . Didn’t have breakfast or go in bar. Very good value stay . "

"We wanted a quiet base from which to visit relatives. The lodge was beautiful: cosy, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location is so very peaceful, we loved hearing the birds (particularly the tawny owl), we saw deer and the dog and I loved the woodland walks."

"Lodge was spacious and suited our needs for a family Christmas. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, although a bottle of milk would have been handy. The kitchen was not very clean, especially the hob and the fridge and we couldn’t find any place mats. All in all though in view of these few niggles we still had a lovely stay. My daughter loved the alpacas and the woodland walk. Thanks also to the owner for contacting us about something we left behind."
