"Lodge was spacious and suited our needs for a family Christmas. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, although a bottle of milk would have been handy. The kitchen was not very clean, especially the hob and the fridge and we couldn’t find any place mats. All in all though in view of these few niggles we still had a lovely stay. My daughter loved the alpacas and the woodland walk. Thanks also to the owner for contacting us about something we left behind."

"A few early hick ups quickly rectified by the host. Wonderful accommodation good spacious rooms and clean. We were a large extended family and would definitely return in the future."

"Disappointed with room, cold - one radiator didn’t appear to work and one needed reprogramming in order to get warmth. The duvet was thin meaning we were cold during the night, and the bed was uncomfortable, so much so we nearly got up and drove home. Shower had black mould on head & pipe. There was a dirty towel, wedged behind the door on the bathroom floor. I went to use a beaker and saw that it was stained so gave up using anything in the kitchen."

"Nicely presented lodge . Very relaxing location . Great for exploring Lincoln and Newark. The lodge had everything we needed for our time there. Would definitely recommend"
