The power did go out while we were there, which the owner says is not unexpected. The cabin has flashlights in every room and water in the bathrooms to flush toilets. And we grilled that night since there was plenty of light outside. Felt like the cabin is well prepared for short power outages. Spend some time exploring the great outdoors at Bridalveil Fall, El Capitan Meadow and Ribbon Fall. Badger Pass Ski Area, Cathedral Beach Picnic Area and Yosemite Falls Trailhead are worth a stop while you're in the area.
