Staying at Casa Terra was a unique experience. I was elated not only for the hotel but for the enchanted and historical town of Villa de Leyva. This boutique estate-like hotel has it all: Great service with a helpful staff: Ximena, Tomas, among others. Beginning with the location, few blocks away from Parque Narino and Plaza Mayor. The 11 or 12 rooms are spacious and different among each other. The dedication of the staff is a priority, I witnessed it because they did my bed twice a day, in the morning and in the afternoon. Breakfast time is a one of a kind experience. They assign your own table outside on the patio where you can enjoy the beautiful gardens and vegetation of the place. They take your order and serve you a succulent breakfast, different from a buffet-type. I was amazed by this impeccable place. What a peaceful and tranquil sorroundings ! I will definitely stay here again in the future.

A perfect stay

Casa Terra was perfect for us. Ximena who runs the hotel was so friendly and went out of her way to help us so much. All of the team were exceptional paying attention to every little detail. We loved our stay and extended a night too. The breakfast was excellent in the dappled sun in the beautiful courtyard

This hotel is simply espectacular. Beautiful gardens, every detail in all areas make it to feel a home. Also, super clean, all staff is super helpful and always willing to serve. Breakfast in the garden was a plus, with a beautiful table served. Will definitely recomend it.

Beautiful setting with a warm, welcoming, attentive staff. The courtyard gardens were a wonderful place to enjoy the included breakfast or just relax after spending a day in town. The room was rustic, but very comfortable. The bathroom was large with plenty of hot water. The staff was extremely attentive, providing information about the local area . Our room was also made up, and fresh towels provided. We would definitely return to this beautiful resort.

This hotel is a GEM The pace is beautiful, has a patio that has a fountain beautiful flowers trees and birds. The rooms are beautiful comfortable beds very clean. Reakfast is excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Terra in Villa de Leyva. The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by trees, birds, and peaceful gardens that make the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The staff was friendly, professional, and always attentive. The breakfasts were amazing — fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. The location is excellent: quiet and peaceful, yet still close to the center of town and the main attractions. Everything about the hotel felt warm, elegant, and well cared for. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Villa de Leyva and looking for a charming and relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful colonial hotel

Great boutique hotel, with a lot of style. Ximena - the owner - was very helpful with tips about the surrounding attractions and recommendations of the best local restaurants. We were also offered a nice free upgrade, as a couple of suites were available over our 1-night stay. Definitely recommended.

The most beautiful hotel! Property is stunning, our room was gorgeous with heated floor bathroom, bathtub, robes and super clean. Breakfast was served outside our room in a private table in this beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious and the service was one of the best I have ever experience. My husband and I spent three wonderful days at Casa Terra Villa de Leyva, and we truly had the best time. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, well-designed, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, making it such a relaxing place to unwind. The staff was amazing and made our stay even more special. Francisco was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. He really went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. We loved how quiet and serene the property is, yet still close enough to enjoy everything Villa de Leyva has to offer. Waking up to nature, enjoying the delicious breakfast they offer, and simply slowing down for a few days was exactly what we needed. This place is truly a gem, and we would absolutely come back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful escape.
