Out of date hotel but decently priced

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Check in was ok. Front desk was not all that friendly but for what I paid for I knew it was to be expected. The hotel was a bit older but signs were up saying renovations were under way. Disappointed that there wasn't free wifi only internet connections. Bed was ok but had stains on bedding. Run down bathroom. You get what you pay for. Overall it was ok if you're on a budget.

Nice hotel

It is a good hotel, room and hotel was well maintained and the staff was very kind. Breakfast was ok. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The only challenge we encountered is that we arrived very late and the door of the hotel was closed; we had to call a cellphone number to ask someone to open and check us in. There should be a note on Expedia about this where it says that there is a 24hr front desk.

Good hotel in Heart of Tulsa, OK

Posted 18-Aug-2015
Pros: The amenities in the room were very helpful. The hot breakfast choices were an added plus, especially for my husband!
Cons: When someone puts that they need to have an assessable room they mean the room should be closer to the door than the room we were given. handicapped!
Location: Shopping:both for the men and the women, of course! Concerts, Great restaurants in abundance. lots of movie options. Hotel pool, exercise room, fun.
At first we wondered about the amenities, however, by the time we got to the room and explored it and the pool, the exercise room, then the hot breakfast the next morning. We decided it was a great place to stay. We where within a mile or two of several good restaurants and enjoyed going to a different one each meal. The shopping was great. There were stores for both the man and the woman and we were very happy with our experiences.

Good value for money

Posted 09-Aug-2015
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Signage; it was a bit hard to find.
Location: Close to interstates and to major suburban corridors, including regional shopping mall with theaters, etc.
Clean, attractive building, adequate parking, good location--easy to downtown and suburban shopping/dining areas. Not the most attractive surroundings, but OK.

Decent proximity to downtown.

Carpet and chair were a little older and worn but in decent shape. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent. The rate was good and the staff was exceptionally friendly. I would stay here again.

Great Motel, Easy Highway Access

Posted 05-Aug-2015
Pros: The motel had easy access to Interstate 40.
Cons: Perhaps the pool could be closed at 11:00 pm. There was a group, mostly children, using the pool until Midnight.
Location: In addition to ease of access to I-40, there were several restaurants and fueling opportunities.
This motel was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was satisfying. We only wish we had more time to stay, as we were on a tightly scheduled cross-country trip. This property was truly a gem!

Pros: Our room smelled fresh & clean, the bathroom & shower were updated; in fact, room was very nice, the bed was a pillow-top and very comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was usual motel fare: egg patties, sausage patties, hot waffle iron, breads and cereals, but we'd already decided to eat out.
Location: Spent the rest of the day checking out guitar stores. However, Tulsa is one of our favorite cities recently for the sculptures, museums, live music.
My wife checked in and then picked me up at the airport. I got there about 10 PM Thursday night. Had my first decent night's sleep in over a week (admittedly my previous bed was in my grandkid's bedroom -2 & 5 yrs old- on a queen air mattress). The mattress was better than my Temperpedic at home, strong shower felt good after all day getting from Tacoma. Skipped usual motel breakfast for much better one at Brookside by Day.

Ok

Not a bad hotel but having stayed in many country inn and suites I was very disappointed with the service at this one.
