"Room dirty. Literal dust on our fingers when we used the railing. The towels and robes were stained. The pool towels were shredded and had holes. The staff was slow and half of them were incompetent. The managers were kind, but you shouldn’t need to involve a manager for every little thing. The food is bad and on the last day we ordered tiramisu that came frozen (after Princess told us they had a baker) and the whipped cream on top had turned and was sour- this skeeved us out- it was impossible not to consider what other food may have been expired or close to expired. Honestly this property is a bad look for Hilton and I don’t recommend for anyone. The pool server spilled a drink on my book and just left it there to soak. He couldnt even be bothered to wipe it or move it. In fact, he just left the lime and straw on the ground and pretended it didn’t even happen. I could go on…. Our stay was pitiful. Waste of money and waste of time. Extremely disappointing. "

"We loved staying at the Alaia resort. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the air conditioning worked well and the property was well taken care of. We will definitely be coming back!"

"The room was great! Clean, everything worked as it should. My issue was with the grounds, I realize that sargassum is beyond anyone’s control but some attempt to clean would be nice. Additionally the loungers by the pool were in a sad state, if you jumped into the ocean from the dock you have no way to get out as the stairs are destroyed.With a little work this place could be a real gem! "

"This is a quiet small resort. Beautiful views everywhere. Small fridges in the room. I wish I had know that the resort provide free pick up from San Pedro airport and that you can rent a golf cart for them for 1 to 4hrs. We didn’t really leave the resort, so we could have saved that fee of golf cart rental. "

"The accommodations were great. The pool area is nice. You cannot swim from this beach and the sargassum on the whole east side of the caye is really bad and smelly, FYI"
