  • Designed with elegant simplicity in mind, Villa Montemare is secluded family villa with a private 10 metre pool, choice of outdoor living areas with glorious sea views. The property is large and welcoming, with four comfortable bedrooms, three tiled bathrooms, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and an open-plan dining room. Outside, guests will find. themselves immersed in nature, with complete privacy, tranquillity and the superb sea views.
    A charcoal barbecue can be found on the large terrace, paired with an al fresco dining area and cosy outdoor space. Tučepi are ideal for an island escape, boat hire and the nearest beach is just a 10 minute drive from the property. The villa is also located near to Makarska, the riviera's central hub. Here, guests can enjoy a picturesque harbour and medieval alleys. The town is also abundant in cafes, restaurants and street shops to explore.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
This place was nice and felt like it was in an authentic area. There are several exceptional restaurants within walking distance. The pool was cold, but otherwise great. We discovered two ways to drive to the rental. One way is a vertical drive through a village. It is treacherous and will raise your blood pressure significantly. The other is much more manageable and on a well traveled main road. I recommend taking that one. Lots of cats. Off the beaten path.

The apartment itself is great, but a few issues to mention. Coffee machine could do with an upgrade, Downstairs bedroom had a mouldy smell emanating from the bathroom. Parking was a lottery as there is no defined parking for the house.
