  • Please read our reviews, people LOVE our home!!! Beautiful Cabin in Tahoe Donner, located in desirable lower portion of neighborhood for quick access to Truckee, skiing, hiking and Donner Lake. Master Bedroom with King bed and private bath, Downstairs bedroom with Trundle Bed (sleeps 2) and desk for remote workers, upstairs bedroom with Queen bed, upstairs bedroom with 2 bunk beds sleeps 4. Game room upstairs with flat panel TV/DVD & foosball table for kids play area, downstairs Roku Smart TV/Soundbar. Fast Wireless Internet access.
    Big decks front & back, High-top table seats 6, BBQ grill, lounge chairs.
    Very comfortable home, gentle sloping south exposure driveway (makes a big difference in winter). Snow Removal during winter included. Backs up to a beautiful green belt for extra privacy and space!
    Each rental comes with 6 guest passes for TD amenities, which have black out dates for most holiday weekends or weekdays. The amenities charge pass holders to use them.

    Please, no FULL ski- season leasing inquires, as we do not rent it for the season.

Fun family trip

Had a blast in Tahoe Donner! The Mougle house was great. Clean, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen even with tin foil and plastic wrap which most VRBOs don't stock and a mostly flat backyard woods for the young kids to play. They loved the foosball and game closet. Thankyou for a great stay!

We had an enjoyable stay with my son and his family. The house was clean and comfortable and communication with Karen was excellent. Check in and checkout was easy. Our grandkids really enjoyed the large open space in the back of the house. Location was very good. For those with small children, there is no highchair or Pakn’play. Also, as guests of the owners, we were surprised by the very high price of the Tahoe Donner amenities.

Karen & Bob's place was perfect for three disabled veterans and me from Project Healing Waters. They spent two incredible days fly fishing the Little Truckee River. Each day it was great to come 'home' at our VRBO. It meant the world to them!

We had a wonderful time at this home. The location was great being lower down on the hill so it’s closer to Truckee and grocery stores etc. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was great also.

Our family of ten had an amazing time in Truckee. The house fit 6 adults and 4 kids perfectly. The neighborhood was great. Tahoe Donner has so much to do. The owner checked in on us the 2nd day and was very responsive. Would stay there again.

The house is cozy and a great location. Easy to get in and out, and like they said the driveway is a plus for winter. Tahoe Donner even plowed the driveway! Everything in the house worked fine, and Karen was easy to communicate with.

Fabulous family vacation in Truckee

This house is great! The pictures don't do it justice. We had plenty of space inside and outside, and the house would work well for a multi-family/multi-generational gathering, too. Neighborhood is quiet and convenient, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Thank you!

This is a very pet friendly property and beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The driveway also is flat which would be great in the winter. We had 3 young kids in our group who were super excited about the bunk beds but they had rock hard super cheap mattresses that no one could sleep on so that was a bummer for our group.

Truckee Cabin

This is a perfect cabin in Truckee for an extended family get away. It has 4 bedrooms, a foosball table, a closet of games and puzzles, a beautiful large deck with a BBQ, a well stocked kitchen, and it is located in a beautiful wooded, serene neighborhood minutes from Truckee. It also provides access to a recreation center with a pool during the summer and a sledding area during the winter. The owners are super responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

Review of the Beautiful Tahoe Donner 4 Bedroom, Perfect Family Rental Home near 5 ski resorts!

We had a great stay here with two young families! Kids ages 7-11. There was plenty of sleeping room for both families and all the kids. The bunk room was great for the kids. We enjoyed hanging in the living room next to the wood burning fireplace watching movies. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking meals at the house. Our kids had a blast hanging in the backyard having snowballs fights and building snowmen. Check in process was smooth. The host was great and reached out directly for best point of contact. We would book another stay here in the future.

We very much enjoyed our weekend away at this cabin! Great location to town, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Exactly what you’re looking for when you want to get away. Owner was very responsive. The only con we felt was that the cleaning needed a little more attention to detail. Other than that we would happily rent again and definitely recommend!!

Lovely, spacious home!

I try to go every winter with my family to Tahoe, and we really enjoyed our stay. My husband and I have a 20 month old son, my mom came with us, and my sister and her family (husband and 2 boys, 10 and 14). It was quite perfect as my sister and her family took the upstairs 2 bedrooms and bath and we took the downstairs remaining 2 bedrooms. The place was spacious and clean. It also had a foosball table where we all enjoyed playing with each other. The location was super close to Safeway, Tahoe Dave's and Sugar Bowl (where we went to go ski/snowboard). Karen was very communicative and responsive. We had a great time! Highly recommend.
