Overall a great place to stay in Tahoe Donner. We’ve been staying in the Donner Lake area for many years, and this is one of the best cabins we have stayed in. The kitchen has a giant island and all the modern amenities, yet the place still has mountain rustic vibes. Only downside is the Tahoe Donner Association and the changes they have made recently against Short Term Renters. They have steadily increased prices for amenity access and reduced the number of passes. This place sleeps 10, but only 6 people can access at a time (and one pass was missing). This is not the host’s fault so no stars deducted but hoping TDA relaxes over time.
