"I loved the location, which was right by the pier and within walking distance to sights, shops, and restaurants. Parking garage was nice, but entry/ exit way was a nightmare. Room was small but enough for one night. Unfortunately, very noisy even at night."

"We spent a night here prior to our Havila cruise. Unfortunately, one of our bags was left in Oslo. The bag came in on a later flight but spent the night in an office instead of being delivered to us, as promised. With only a couple of hours until we needed to be on the ship, desk employee Marie called the airline and the bag was delivered in minutes. We were so grateful for her help! Don't hesitate to eat a meal in their restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious fish meal there, one of the best on our trip. Thanks Thon Kirkenes!"

"Very homey and friendly. Front desk staff went out of their way to help us with our stay and plan our outings. Convenience and savings of having two+ meals provided were well worth it, and food was quite good if not high gourmet. View of harbor and waterfront was attractive and constantly engaging. Other guests were polite and friendly, families with kids made it cozy. Would stay again and will look for sister hotels in other cities."

"Good: Quiet and clean room! Bad: It was a bit worn out. Carpet, paint, bathroom door handle was loose. I went over to Scandic to get the room code. This was because I got a new phone # / Sim card once arriving in Europe. No problem as it was a couple of blocks away."

"The cabin was charming and immaculate (although too hot). The fully equipped shared kitchen is very large, with multiple appliances for guests to cook simultaneously, and large fridge and freezer for guests to leave their food. Enjoy the sauna at the end of your day!"
