Daly Inn Bar/Restaurant - just one the way - serves lunch and evening meals - sports on tv 1 - staff are wonderful. Aroma cafe across the road, daybreak shop and donore takeaway - all great business. "We booked this for the ability to have 4 beds. The place is nice but it's a bit past it's prime and showing it's age. The biggest challenge for us was the road noise from the highway right outside the window. The pub and food onsite were great. "

"Johnstown Estate looks great on the outside, on the inside however it has some issues. For a high class hotel, staff seem a bit disorientated at times when it gets busy. I stayed in a twin room with my friend. It was clean but smallish. Main issue in room heating would not work. My friend suffers from a long term illness and cannot be cold. It took several times for maintenance to fix heating, it subsequently came on for a couple of hours then went back off. We should have been offered a room change, disappointing. Lovely grounds but not used to full advantage especially with seating outdoors when weather is nice. Stayed in Dunboyne Castle the night before and have to say it was a much better esperience overall. "
