"I loved this hotel. My room on the 5th floor was just lovely. The shower took a while to warm up but then there was plenty of hot water. Fabulous location just at the base of the hill where you walk up to castle, 2 min from the Roman amphitheater, and steps from all the shops, restaurants and scenic streets of the old town. "

"The Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta is the epitome of what a small luxury five star hotel should be. All the staff were committed to ensuring we had a very pleasant staff. Any small query we had was dealt with with alacrity to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were well furnished and the housekeeping did an immaculate job. The restaurant is top class, Michelin starred cuisine, and the food has an excellent range of dishes. The spa provides a beautiful swimming pool in the basement and the massages both myself and my wife received were very professional and beneficial. The site of the hotel right in the heart of Trieste make it an absolutely perfect destination for a holiday or short stay. "
