Mt Desert Island View Cottage is wonderful! The hosts have thought of everything, and I mean everything you both need and want when you are away on vacation. Their eye to detail in the kitchen, bathrooms, pillows, towels, extra blankets, etc is impeccable. The cottage is very welcoming, cottage is spotless, very comfortable, cozy and quiet. Access to the beach is a stairway at the sister cottage, which caused me some pause and felt intrusive to walk across their deck to access the stairs, but it was completely cleared as acceptable with the host to do so. The view is beautiful and peaceful. I give is a 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again and I HIGHLY recommend it.
