Located on the third floor of a brand new building, our open plan apartment provides a perfect mix of privacy and community. With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the space is equally well suited to host a family of four or two couples. Bedrooms are located at either end, and the central combined living/dining/cooking space allows for shared laughs, entertainment and conversation. The unit features its own laundry facilities for added convenience. The Space: Each of the nine units on the property are provided with one on-site parking space. Overnight parking on city streets is prohibited by city ordinance during certain months. If there is more than one vehicle in your party, you may wish to consider parking the second car in the Hardy Parking Garage (303 E State St, Traverse City) which is a little less than one mile away, and costs $10 per day. The Neighborhood: The best part about our apartment is its fabulous location. We are an easy 15-20 minute walk from the very heart of downtown Traverse City, with its eclectic mix of restaurants, nightlife, cafes and shopping. We are also located within a 10 minute walk of two delightful West Bay beaches - Sunset Park, and Bryant Park. The Traverse City area is home to one of the Midwest's finest wine regions, with both the Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas boasting dozens of incredible wineries, many with stunning views of East and West Grand Traverse Bay. As our guest, you're located right at the base of the Old Mission peninsula, with the closest wineries a short 5 minute drive from our parking lot! Other Things to Note: VRBO bookings have a non refundable 2.9% + 30¢ credit card processing fee. Interaction with Guests: Our primary residence is less than 20 minutes away, so we aren't far away should any needs arise. It was exactly as pictured, so cute and spotless. Check-in was seamless and you don't need to meet up with anyone which makes it easier knowing you're not racing against the clock. This place is directly across the street from the Bayline. It's the local shuttle in Traverse City and it's free! It's like having a designated driver if you're into that kind of thing ;) You are also about a two minute walk from a beach- there are many but we ended up just going to the closest one. Starbuck's is a block down. I could go on. I was honestly shocked to get a place on Front street this nice during prime summer days for this price. It was just me and one friend so if you had one or two more people, it would be even cheaper. Basically, just bring your clothes. Lol Everything else is there- washer/dryer, everything you need to cook and eat in if you want, Netflix and about 8,000 other things to watch from what I could tell and beach towels- brand, new, clean beach towels!!! I was thrilled since I forgot mine. It's really the best of both worlds. You're blocks away (totally walkable- or you can take the Bayline) from all the bars, restaurants, and shops, and when you're ready to come home and pass out from exhaustion, you will sleep peacefully in the quiet, pleasant neighborhood where the condo is located. ##### Mary R.
