"We had a wonderful stay at the James F. Maren Inn in Clemson! The inn has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is a beautiful place to stay while visiting the area. The rooms were comfortable and inviting, and the overall experience felt relaxing and special. The location was convenient for enjoying Clemson and everything the area has to offer. The hospitality and attention to detail really made our visit memorable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay at the James F. Maren Inn again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and charming place to stay in Clemson!"

"Remember that it is a 100 year old hotel so it’s rustic. Our room was freezing and when I inquired, they said it couldn’t be adjusted because the thermostat controlled the entire floor. But they did provide lots of covers and a heater which we used to offset the chill. We ate dinner at the restaurant which was pretty good but overpriced. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, for us, it was a one time stay."

"My first time here. Lovely resort. Pool was awesome. Poolside restaurant had good sandwiches. I wish the breakfast was open before 10:00 am, but the free coffee was nice. I walked to Starbucks for breakfast. Room was spacious."

"The only issue i had was when I cut the heat on the smoke alarm went off which is understandable but I couldn't use the heat at all"
