"Well appointed close to all facilities and beach. The cottage was well stocked but showing signs of wear and tear which you expect with high occupancy , unfortunately the main concern was the water temperature it was tepid and never got hot which meant cold baths and showers therefore we didn’t use the hot tub who wants constant cold showers for that reason alone we would not use the property again or recommend it."

"A great 2 week relaxing stay at Penmon View. A lovely warm, comfortable, cosy well equipped bungalow in an amazing area of Anglesey ideally situated for visiting many areas on the island. On arrival at the bungalow there was a very generous and delicious surprise welcome pack. Yvonne and Keith were exceptional hosts and very attentive to our needs throughout our stay and always on the end of the telephone if required. We would definitely like to return and would recommend the property to anyone wanting to visit the area."

"A family break, 3 generations and the house is a good size, clean and comfortable. Beach is literally 1 min walk away, there is a cafe and an ice cream stall, grandchildren loved it! The house is so close you could walk back for a coffee/ food if you choose to. Although you need your car to visit other towns the island isn’t huge. Pub at the top of the hill, has a good range of pub grub, and staff are friendly. Also lots of places to eat in Benllech. Would recommend!"

"A lovely, well-appointed bungalow in an ideal location! We had such a wonderful week with our two children and wouldn’t hesitate to return. As well as being within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Moelfre, the furthest we drove was about 30 minutes - we visited Caernarfon Castle, Plas Nywedd, Greenwood Family Park and Anglesey Sea Zoo, as well as local visits to the sandy beaches at Lligwy and Bennlech, and the ancient sites at Din Lligwy. There are still so many things places we would have liked to visit, and are already thinking about when we can come back! Moelfre is a beautiful place to stay- the only thing to bear in mind is that there is no longer a local shop in the village, which caught us out slightly but didn’t affect our huge enjoyment of our stay. Communication with our hosts was excellent- we noticed a couple of bits when we first arrived and sent a message, which was responded to immediately with kindness and helpful suggestions. Thank you for a wonderful week!"

"Absolutely wonderful property. Full history in the information pack, and the host broke ground as the first female volunteer crew member and navigator at Moelfre! What an inspiration for anybody staying with young daughters! Beautiful surroundings, unique but extremely well designed and maintained place to stay and once you read up on the history, you can really feel the love poured into making this a proper home from home for anybody staying. Everything you could ever need, including a slow cooker, coffee machine with pods, and home made marmalade! Local knowledge poured into the info pack, and loads of local walking books and welsh language books to learn from and help plan your daily activity. Our daughter is autistic and doesn’t do well away from home, that wasn’t even an issue here. We felt like we were home and it’s the little touches from the host which really make it a special place to stay. A truly special place."
