Relaxing getaway

Perfect location for a weekend away to decompress and recharge. Bird Watchers Paradise offers a sense of seclusion and privacy. The cabin was comfortable and homey. This was our first-time doing a short term rental. Tim, the host, was very responsive and understanding of our questions around his check-in process. Some of which I'm sure seemed inane; he exhibited the patience and grace of a saint.

Excellent getaway

First things, first...the property was as listed and communication with the owner was great. Now to the important stuff--this the most peaceful location. We never turned on the TV, we just listened to music and watched the birds, deer, turkeys and squirrels. The hummingbirds are everywhere and not at all afraid to get close to you. The back porch is a slice of heaven. The bed was comfortable and the blankets like this perfect "grandma quilt" weight--if you know, you know. The central air kept the house very comfortable. Zero complaints. Everything you could need is there from soaps, to dishes, even coffee and tea to get your trip started. We picked up groceries on our way in and never left the cabin after that. Didn't need to. It was perfect. Thanks so much for hosting us! My husband is already asking when we can come back :)

This cabin has everything you need. Full size appliances - stove, fridge, washer, dryer, bidet. Good internet. Room for the whole family thanks to the beds in the loft - although as a couple we only used the ground floor bedroom. It was clean.

Quiet and peace

The property was just what we were looking for. Secluded in the woods. The porch is basically where we lived, nothing like a big covered porch! The property was clean and everything worked properly. The bed and pillows were super comfy and also clean. This was a really great place. I’d definitely book it again.

Awesome spot

This cabin is great. Relatively secluded location while still having easy access to nearby hiking, restaurants and activities. The place is a bit rustic, but not overly so, and it has just about everything you could need. Really enjoyed both the fire pit area and spacious porch. Will definitely be back!

This was exactly what we needed for some serious 'down time' and the ability to get caught up with friends who we hadn't seen in 3 years. Spent many ours out on the deck just talking and enjoying the birds that would come visit.

Every amenity was provided by the host, right down to coffee & teas/board games/ & outdoor seating. Our favorite spot was morning coffee on the back porch, returning for wine at sunset! Great getaway!
