"Great location for visiting Chimayo, but room quality varies greatly. We booked 2 rooms. Pros: Ideal Location: Perfect base for a trip to Chimayo. Atmosphere & Layout: Really pretty indoor/outdoor look and feel throughout the property. Service: The staff was friendly and welcoming. Amenities: Small but decent casino on-site for a bit of entertainment. Cons: Inconsistent Room Quality: We booked two rooms, and the experience differed significantly between floors. Downstairs Room: Clean, though dated. The main issue was a missing lock on the bathroom door. Upstairs Room: Needed substantial maintenance and deep cleaning. Heavy soil on the carpet required wearing shoes at all times. The mini-fridge was extremely noisy and damaged (exposed insulation foam), though it managed to stay cold. Most concerning was visible black mold lining the shower tub. Final Thoughts: I would likely book again for the location and friendly service, but I would strictly request a downstairs room, as those appear to be better maintained or updated."

"We have been staying at Encantado since the 80’s and this is definitely one of the best units. Very private patio with great views. The house was very well stocked for our fam of 4. Chuck was very nice and easy. We will be back for sure !"

"Quaint get away from hectic and noisy days. This home was exactly as described along with a homey comfortable vibe and quiet surroundings. Although the home has not seen updates like many properties it almost seemed like it had never been lived in! Everything was in supreme condition. The pool was a BONUS after our long bike rides. What a treat!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, check-in was easy, and everything was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, and the host was helpful in recommending local attractions. My family had a great time, especially enjoying the pool. The surrounding area was beautiful, and the views were fantastic. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to other families visiting the area."

"This property was outstanding. Great location surrounded by the beautiful landscape and near the Four Seasons Resort. The house itself was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Everything you could want, including kitchen items, bedding, etc. Leonard, the host, could not have been nicer and more helpful -- he gave us all the info we needed and was friendly and extremely helpful, including sharing lots of great info about shopping and restaurants, etc. Thanks to his help, we found some places to shop for art bargains and got several items. All in all, it was an outstanding stay and we will definitely visit this property again."

"Myra's home is an absolute gem. We stayed for 9 days and loved every minute. Nestled in the high desert, the mountain views and surrounding area are gorgeous. Every morning started on the patio (lots of shade from umbrellas and surrounding trees). I'd have coffee and watch the humming birds visit the feeder--so quiet and peaceful. Lot's of trails for walks plus nice to do a lap around the 4 Seasons across the road. (Don't miss the Camino Encantado (Public Trail) that starts on the 4 Season's property.) Drive to the Santa Fe Plaza is only about 17 minutes. Groceries available about 15 minutes away in either Pojaque or Santa Fe.The house was spacious with plenty of room for my husband and I plus 3 adult "kids" Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and "extras--condiments, tea, extra coffee, seasonings, oil etc. House stayed cool during the day-air worked great. At night we would enjoy the patio again for games followed by star gazing. We used the lovely pool most days--just a short walk from the house. Was uncrowded and well kept up. Again, very quiet and peaceful.Myra was so helpful and responsive. She would text me back within minutes when I had a question. We would absolutely stay again when in the area. A true find!"
