"Gloria at the desk was wonderful! I needed to change location half way through my stay. They said I had a promo rate & probably couldn’t check out early. I did not know I had a promotional rate. Spoke to the manager & she said I would have a cancellation fee but could not tell me how much until transaction was completed so I stayed & had to drive more. I understand a fee but was advised the manager could override fees, etc. I felt it was not very accommodating in light of an unexpected need to change location. "

"Our 1928 experience lived up to all that we thought it would be! Amazing service, beautiful room, comfortable bed and the extra touches eg. Bed turn over with cookie and water just made our stay so lovely. The food in all 3 restaurants/cafes was also amazing. It was also close to the Silos ( 5 minute walk) which was fantastic. "

The only one thing and I realize they are trying to revitalize that area is that it didnt seem too safe for those places that were with in walking distance. Other than that one draw back all the things we were interested in were no more than a 10 minute drive from the hotel. "
