The location next to the beach is really the main reason to stay. It’s very convenient and views are beautiful. However be prepared that the property is not as pictured online.
Pool - extremely crowded on the weekend with no place to sit and watch the kids. The only seats are cement cylinders and benches with a few wooden lounge shaped chairs. It’s not set up for a relaxing poolside day. The waterslide they advertise online has been out of commission for at least a year (we were there last year and were told it was getting fixed). The lazy river is quite dirty and the paint is peeling. The bathrooms are similar to public bathrooms you would see at a beach.
Buffet - you have to dine within a set 90 minute window. Even if you show up towards the end of that window, you have to vacate at the end of that window. At dinner time people rush to pile their plates like with food, which creates a very stressful environment, even though there is no shortage of food. The food quality is mediocre. Unfortunately there is no space at their finer dining restaurants.
Room - large space with a large, nice bathroom. The bed size is even in a family room are very small for two people. I believe they are listed as queen, but they certainly do not feel like queen, more twin.
My kids loved the large games room although is very hectic in there in the evening m, it seems like fun for kids age 5-12.
In North America it would be 3-Star hotel.
