"It’s a great property in a beautiful location. The absence of a common lounge means that whilst there you are confined to the bedroom. There is a dining room which functions well. Outside areas are exposed and in inclement weather cannot be used."

"Why is it every time we visit Oban, there's a violent storm? We'd booked for two nights but on our day of travel Mathew phoned to advise all the roads were either flooded or blocked with landslips. We agreed to try travelling the following day, which we did - it was eventful and with many detours but got there. "We liked our stay at The Scott. The hotel does not look fancy outside, but that does not matter. The bed was good, the bathroom very clean with great shower products. No fridge available. Our room was facing the main Street what was nice. Parking was easy (although it seems that spaces are limited) and very convenient when travelling by car. Check in and check out easy. The hotel is well located and we can really recommend it. We would stay again. "

"Rooms were clean and fresh, however don’t be fooled by “en suite”. All rooms share a bathroom on each floor with a sink in the room. We presumed we had our own. Other than that, we had a nice overnight stay. "

"Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories."

"Firstly this property is in a beautiful location and there are a number of places worth visiting in the area. The kitchen is excellent and the balcony was well used in the sunny weather. Everything that was promised in the apartment with 2 baths and a sauna. However, as it highlighted in the previous review the bed is not comfortable and the pillows are poor. It seems picky to highlight these things but you do need to sleep and it is a luxury accommodation which we and other people are paying...
