"Being an avid traveller I often look for a stay outside the mainstream. This is one of them, and it's very good. Wintertime it's low key and peaceful but in the summer it's buzzing. "The hotel has a well equipped gym and a sauna and an amazing breakfast, really very yummy. There were a lot of GF options but unfortunately they were stale as had been left out a bit too long - GF very quickly softens or becomes stale so it can be tricky, but I really did appreciate that there were options with a GF dedicated toaster. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little bit small if you have a lot of luggage, but for us it was fine. Within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. You can park outside the hotel but only for 3 hours. There is a much better car park just across the road and to the left. We would definitely stay here again."
