This magnificent country-style home provides the ideal destination for a holiday of pure relaxation. What will strike you the most are undoubtedly the impressive views of the hills that extend at the foot of the house; from it, you will even see the white town of Torrox and the Mediterranean sea. Besides, the rest provided will allow you to recharge the batteries, enjoying the environment and the company of your loved ones like never before. The house is distributed on one floor and has a cosy, rustic-style living room with wooden ceilings and terracotta floors. The wooden furniture goes with the decoration of the house, creating an authentic atmosphere. The open kitchen has all the appliances so you can cook as if you were at home. Up to 6 people can stay in the house, thanks to its comfortable bedrooms. The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms have two single beds each, and share another bathroom, with a bathtub. The house has warm/cool air-con in the main bedroom and in one of the bedroom with two single beds. The outdoor area features a fabulous covered porch with outdoor dining and barbecue area, ideal for delicious meals al fresco. From the porch, you can access the fabulous private pool, surrounded by sun loungers so that the relaxation is truly unforgettable. Der Nachteil ist, dass man den Berg immer rauf und runter muss, die Straße ist eng, holprig und kurvenreich. Aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran und das wussten wir schon vorher. Im Cottage selbst war es sehr kalt und dunkel (März/April), wir saßen jedoch immer im Wintergarten, was mit ein wenig Sonne schnell sehr gemütlich wurde. Für kalte Abende wurde im Wintergarten eine Elektroheizung aufgestellt und auch im Schlafzimmer sorgt die Klimaanlage für Wärme. Ich würde empfehlen, in den kalten Monaten mit maximal 4 Personen im Haus zu übernachten, da die Sofas im Cottage und im Wintergarten nicht für 6 Personen ausgelegt sind. Im Außenbereich befinden sich zusätzlich 4 Stühle und 4 Sonnenliegen die große Sonnenliege. Supermärkte sind sonntags geschlossen, einige Geschäfte vor Ort haben jedoch für den Bedarf des Grundbedarfs geöffnet. Wir konnten in der Umgebung viel spazieren gehen und haben allerlei schöne Orte besucht. Carlos, der Eigentümer, beherrscht Google Translate fließend und trotz der Sprachbarriere verlief die Kommunikation reibungslos. Wir kamen Stunden vor der vereinbarten Zeit an und als wir Carlos Bescheid sagten, kam er sofort und wir durften ins Haus. Sehr flexibel. Auf WhatsApp antwortete er meist schnell und auch ein Problem mit einem Wasserkocher wurde umgehend behoben. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Ich vermisse jetzt schon meinen Morgenkaffee in der Sonne, mit dem Blick über das Tal und dem wunderbaren Duft der Orangenblüten. ##### Bianca S. Es war eine ruhige Gegend tief in den Bergen, die Zufahrtsstraße, die manche hier als „holprig“ bezeichnen, würde ich eher als Panoramastraße mit schöner Aussicht bezeichnen. (Aber es kann für unerfahrene Fahrer eine Herausforderung sein.) Das Haus ist perfekt gepflegt, mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie brauchen, und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Der Ofen ist praktisch an kalten Frühlingsabenden. Obwohl wir mit dem Wetter sehr unglücklich waren (sogar „Calima“ erlebten), haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der letzte Teil ist eng, holprig und stellenweise sehr steil, obwohl man sich daran gewöhnt. Das Haus hat einen geräumigen Wintergarten, der sehr schön ist. Hier ist es immer schön warm. (wir waren im März dort) Das Wohnzimmer selbst ist recht klein und dunkel. Wir haben dort nicht gesessen. Die Küche ist schön geräumig. Das große Loungebett am Pool ist sehr schön. Ein Auto ist unverzichtbar, da es ziemlich abgelegen ist. Das Auto kann am Haus geparkt werden. Es gibt nur Morgen- und Nachmittagssonne. Abends verschwindet die Sonne gegen 17 Uhr hinter den Bergen. Besitzer Carlos ist sehr freundlich, ordentlich, bescheiden und hilfsbereit, spricht aber leider nur Spanisch.
