"We had a wonderful stay. Piece and quiet area. Lots to visit and see. Wine/beer tasting nearby. Hotel is newly established. Contemporary style, comfortable beds. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. There is a bakery at the premises, and it's possible to bake your own bread there. Personnel is friendly and welcoming. "The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. This was pacified by having two pools to cool off in and lounge by. I’d absolutely stay again. "
"Beautiful property in the beautiful Douro Valley with a nice pool. There is no winery on site, but it is in the middle of beautiful vineyards. You can go down the road to Pinhao or to St. Eufemia Winery for a tour. Breakfast was great and the staff was very accomodating. Great price for a beautiful stay. The property would benefit from some more outdoor leisure areas to sit peacefully and enjoy the view other than the balcony of your room or the pool/deck. Lenore at the desk was very nice and very helpful."
