This is an old property and the folks are doing their best with what is there. Dirt in corners in the bathroom may date back to the 60s but the bed was very clean and comfortable, nice TV, everything I needed.

Room was close to main road, so any traffic was heard. Had to wait at least 30 minutes after making reservations because it took that long to get into computer as we were told. Gentleman was nice who checked me in. The rate was too pricey for the accomodations. Would stay again if the need presented itself.

Front staff was excellent. The room was OK. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little outdated wallpaper coming off the wall, not too much hot water kind of lukewarm. Rusty shower curtain rod. Smoke detector went off for no reason early evening, and I had to take it off the ceiling. breakfast was just two kinds of cereal and some bread for toast. Water was cold for the tea.

We stayed here for two nights and while the location was convenient, the room had several issues. The amount of things plugged into one outlet via 2 different powerstrips (tv, microwave, refrigerator and some type of cablebox) seemed pretty unsafe. There were dead bugs on the floor and spiderwebs on the walls. A few baseboard pieces were missing in the bathroom, and there was black grime around the baseboards, also we noticed some doobious drips running down one of the walls. The floor was quite dirty — after my shower, my feet were black by the time I reached the bed. On top of that, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The staff was friendly enough, but between the cleanliness problems and the uncomfortable bed, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless I had no other options.

Will not stay there again, front desk had a man that didn't speak English, room smelled like people hhad smoked in it, tv remote 😳 was there turned it on and it had not signal, there is more but the thing that topped it off was at 3 o'clock in the morning the smoke alarm started beeping and it was out of reached i was out of there by 3:30 and on the road

Had an emergency and had to leave my stay early. Was told the Tompkinsville inn would not refund the money for the nights we did not use. Not many options in the area. The Rooms are out of date. And need lots of attention. Parking is terrible.
