It was so hot everywhere in the hotel especially in our room because windows are fixed to be closed. It made our stay so miserable. However, we like the breakfast. ##### Cartoon Stayed 3 nights in Oct 2025 ### 8/10 Good #### Joseph 14 Feb 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities I don't think I spent enough time in Tomakomai to get a good feeling for the area, I mainly stayed here because it was close to Sapporo and the hotel was within walking distance from Tomakomai train station. The hotel was also very close to a Don Quijote, Lawson, and Seicomart. The only room option available at the time was a smoking room, and while it was clean, the room itself seemed old and like it needed some updating. The view from my room was nice though, and there wasn't a lingering odor of smoke. The general area is quite different to what I was expecting, being quite industrial, but it still felt safe and quiet at night. The place was pretty full, as well. One word of caution - the elevators close unusually quickly and don’t stop instantly if you happen to be in the way.
