We had a wonderful stay overall at this Sotetsu Fresa Inn in Tokyo. The location, the staff, the amenities, the breakfast choices were all good. Our room was quiet, clean and had everything one would need - however our room was in the Annex and was extremely small so there was no place to open our suitcases and there was no natural light as the window opened to an adjacent building.

For one person, the room would have been fine. For a couple, it was extremely uncomfortable. The double bed was pushed against walls on three sides, so one person had to climb over the other in order to get in and out of the bed.

Property is located in an ideal location. Walking distance to Ginza shops, especially very large Don Quioxte near by. More senior / handicapped rooms need to be made available. Staff is very considerate and polite. They are helpful and make accommodation changes if possible. Good stay

Amazing location! 1 minute walk to Shimbashi station and tons of restaurants. Rooms are extremely clean and price is nearly unbeatable for what you get.

This is an excellent hotel but be aware if you have a lot of baggage as the rooms as small. They have everything you need and close to most places if you like walking as well as the trains. Would stay again.

The hotel has a great location by Shimbashi station. It was extremely clean. Room was tiny but that was expected. Although the area around the hotel is noisy, the room had good soundproofing. The bed was not very comfortable so that was the big downside.

The location is excellent, very close to subway and walking distance to Ginza. The room was small, and hardly any space to put luggage and move around. For tourist that use this facility for sleeping only, it is sufficient.

Place is nice and convenient, close to train station and shops. Nice view outside the window especially at night. My family of 4 won't hesitate to stay again.

Good affordable place to stay in Shinbashi
Stayed at the 8th floor facing the train tracks. U can hear the train passing it’s not so noisy so it didn’t bother us that much. Reception staff not so knowledgeable can’t communicate well in English. Room was small not much space if u bring 2 big luggage, no wardrobe, they provide few clothes hanger where u can hang next to the door. They provide pyjamas and a complete skincare amenities for men and women u don’t even have to bring your own.

Overall the hotel is nice and very convenience. The service is very good. The bad things is the toilet. My room and my relative room are very smelly. It is clean but somehow very strong toilet smell.

Bigger than expected, great service
Super convenient location, friendly & helpful staff, rooms were larger than expected based on the pictures especially for Tokyo standards - not the bathroom though. One can hear the trains going by but it didn't bother us too much and when it rained the morning of our departure we were glad not having to walk too far.

Brilliant like my last 3 stays there
It's my 3rd time staying there and needless to say, the reason is because I liked it so much. That have kept their service standards and hotel is still very well maintained. As per my previous feedbacks, love the location being right next to Shimbashi station, lots of eateries nearby and will definitely stay there again.

Everything was comfortable, apart from amenities. Most amenities are not given in the room, you have to go downstairs to take them at reception desk. But there’re a lot of varieties of amenities given, including face mask, hair wax etc. The only drawback was have to go downstairs to take coffee packet but no coffee packets left since night till the next day till we checked out.

Nice hotel in a great neighborhood, some noise
Perfectly functional and clean, like other Fresa hotels. Great area, right next to the train station and many restaurants and bars. Only issue is the noise from the train, which stops around 1am. Otherwise very nice.

at Shimbashi Station exit - good location
attempted an early check-in but was advised not possible and so the Front Desk stored our bags while we went out into the city. Upon returning in the evening we were advised our bags were waiting for us in our room which was a nice touch. This was our first stay in Tokyo and I had heard the rooms are small and it totally was. The picture on the Expedia website led me to believe it was going to be larger. For two people it was frustratingly small. The bathroom was stocked well will amenities. We asked the (very friendly) housekeeper for an additional towel each and each day she automatically gave us an extra one - again a nice touch. Hotel is within one block of Shimbashi Station exit - very conveneint and just a few blocks to Ginza Shopping area - would stay here again next time in Tokyo - good transportation options to Haneda or Narita - staff assisted us in English as we spoke no Japanese. Got coffee each morning at Lobby level convenience store. A restaurant is attached to the hotel but we did not use. 7-Eleven locations within a block or two for ATM access and snacks/water basics. Kettle and fridge in room.

Our thought
Convenient location and friendly staff. Bathroom needed to be ventilated during our stay due to smell of mildew. Cleaning staff starts preparation early at 8 a.m. piling up clean bathroom supplies on the hallway with clear view.
