Out of 6 nights my daughter and I were only able to stay in this accommodation for 1 night because the sleeping conditions were unbearable
The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. I could feel every metal spring through the mattress and was unable to sleep at all. By the morning, I was experiencing pain in my back, neck, and head. My daughter's mattress was even worse.
The room, bathroom, and bathtub were exceptionally small. I have never experienced accommodations of this quality, even as a university student during the Soviet era in the former USSR.
Additionally, the exterior photo shown online is not the building where the unit is actually located, which was very misleading.
This experience significantly impacted our vacation. We had saved for this trip, paid substantial airfare costs, and looked forward to enjoying our time in Tokyo. Instead, we were forced to spend valuable vacation time searching for a last-minute hotel and moving our luggage during heavy rain caused by the typhoon. We lost nearly half a day of our vacation because of these issues.
After we reported the problems, the host refused to reimburse us for the unused nights. The only solution offered was a spare mattress stored under the bed. Unfortunately, that mattress was also very hard and uncomfortable, and by that point I was already experiencing physical pain from the original mattress. There was no second replacement mattress available for my daughter, whose bed was even more uncomfortable.
